PinMonkey Shop is a home and vehicle maintenance manager. These groups match what the application does. The full screen-by-screen walkthrough is on How It Works.
Garage is for vehicles. House is for household equipment. Each item has its own record, and both appear together on My Stuff.
Each asset can have tasks with a title, importance, description, a month interval, a mile interval where that applies, an optional next due date, an estimated cost, and recommended parts. The dashboard groups attention so you can see work that is overdue, due soon, or further out.
Completing a task keeps a history record with the date, mileage when it applies, cost, service provider, parts, and notes, and updates the next due values. Completed records can be corrected, but not deleted. A correction is not proof that the work was performed.
Garage vehicles can record fill-ups: date, odometer, quantity, price, fuel type, and station notes. Fuel economy is calculated from those entries and may show that there is not enough data yet. US or metric display does not rewrite stored values.
A VIN is optional. When you decode one, official NHTSA manufacturer-submitted information can propose details such as year, make, model, and engine. You review the proposal before applying it. Decoding a VIN does not verify whether that VIN is included in a recall.
Vehicle results use official NHTSA information for year, make, and model. They do not prove a specific VIN is affected. House checks use official CPSC information and are possible matches, not proof that the exact product is recalled. Confirm details with the official notice, the agency, or the manufacturer.
Vehicle consumer complaints come from official NHTSA complaint data and stay separate from safety recalls. A complaint is a submitted report. It does not by itself establish a defect or a recall.
PinMonkey can keep part references for an asset and offer links to repair guides, parts searches, parts stores, repair videos, and repair shops. It does not sell parts, and it does not guarantee fitment.
Settings include System, Light, and Dark, plus US or metric units. Those choices are saved in the browser. Where a device supports it, installation is managed by the browser rather than by a separate PinMonkey installer.
